Vujačić
A safe draftsman, an exquisite expert in the human anatomic structure, Ranković deals with the form with ease, changing it, sometimes up to the grotesque in an attempt to achieve his intention. In the drawings and graphics enclosed, in the precise elaboration of details, his analytical sense can be seen, which is even more definite in the presentation of the wealth of forms owing to the material.



His capability reflected in the sensive gradation of aquating material makes him reach the authenticity of his mythological beings, deities, old men and women that exist in the unique space and atmosphere. In his creativity we notice a certain coincidence with the symbolism of Blake, Redon, Moreau, as well as with the surrealism of Salvador Dali, which is the consequence of the sincere vocation and aim, as a frequent phenomenon of the exploration of the gap in contemporary painting. Ranković gives his personal characteristics to the imaginatively animated baroque composition, considering a painting as an object of permanent value, which contains the enigma of matter, as the condition for the permanent life of paintings. Colour has not the role of a factor in his painting, which intrudes by the autonomy of action, it is subordinated to the idea, and it is in the direct function of the presentation of forms and the atmosphere as an element of valeur.
